Fountain-1-10 K is a destructible container of a rectangular shape with a top section designed to minimize harmful effects resulted from an explosion equal to 1 kg TNT. Walls of the container are filled with a environmentally friendly two-phase liquid –gas medium. The container is equipped with an inner anti-fragmentation liner made of polymeric aramid materials. The container does not produce dangerous secondary fragmentation, suppresses the shock blast wave even if the explosive many times exceeds the claimed protection capability. It does not prevent X-ray examination.
At 1.5 meter distance from 1 kg TNT blast epicenter Fountain-1-10 K 10 times reduces a shock wave overpressure in comparison with the “open” explosion. Thermal effect is suppressed completely. At 2.5 m distance from the 1 kg TNT blast epicenter Fountain-1-10 K reduces the shock wave pressure to ( 50+10) kPa level, which is not lethal for a human life. It suppresses 80% reduction of dangerous RGO grenade fragments at 2. 0 m from the epicenter

Fountain-1-10 K is designed for isolation of potentially dangerous objects. The container is designed to be used for removing explosive devices up to 1 kg in TNT equivalent while reducing the hazard from the explosion. The container’s design allows securing the potential explosive devise inside it and provides safe transportation.
