Its quality and price compare favorably with anything on the market !
Sheets of SPS-43 according to TS 0902-005-31041642-95 structural alloyed armour steel (microalloyed by calcium) are recommended as bullet-proof homogeneous armour for armour constructions, armoured cars and personal protection.
Armour steel of 2.5mm thickness is cerified to the IV class of European Standard, and armor steel of 6.5mm to the VI class of European Standard. (Beschussamt Mellrichstadt testing center, Germany)
The sheets are made of 2.2-6.5mm thickness, 100-1200mm width, 2000-6000mm length. Maximum possible size of a heat treated steel sheet is 2000mm x 1050mm. Shapes and dimensions can be agreed.
|
- Steel sheet of 2.5mm thick is able to stop Magnum 44, 62x25mm Tokarev pistol, 9mm 124 grain FMJ.
- Steel sheet of 4.5mm thick stops steel core bullets from AKM (modification of AK-47) or .30 carbine 110 grain FMJ.
- Steel sheet combination of 2.5mm + 6.5mm thick good enough to stop heat-treated core bullets from AKM; bullets SS109EN NATO, 7.62mm NATO ball 150 grain, 30.06 PSP 180 grain.
